Everyone has the opportunity to help the most needy by donating to a project of his/her choice. It doesn't matter how much or how little.Your donation is highly valued and can help:

• a woman in Rhonda slums within Nakuru Municipality buy vegetables from a farmer to sale at the market to get a daily meal for the family
• support a nutritious meal for orphaned and other vulnerable children in our project every school day
• sponsor an HIV and AIDS awareness workshop for the most vulnerable reproductive age group in Rhonda slums
• buy windows, doors, iron sheets, nails, roofing timber etc. for our primary school under construction
• buy beds, bed sheets, blankets, mattresses etc. for the orphans in the home
• buy a playgound that is most needed for the large number of children that we currently have

Individuals can also sponsor a child enrolled in LDK's programme with $240 (or 200 euros) a year and become part of the child's growing process and thus contribute to changing the child's life. Organizations and corporations are invited to partner with LDK and implement specific projects together.

Support our scholarship program

We are currently faced with the challenge of ensuring that those children who graduate primary school have a change to proceed with high school even when they missed an opportunity to be sponsored while still in primary school.We have started a scholarship program to enable us give these children the necessary education they deserve to lay a strong foundation for a better future. One time cotribution to this scheme could help a desperate child continue with his/her education. Support us through donating to enable us change a small part of this world. Appeal

We are making an appeal for donations to enable us buy more space for the playground. The space of 1 acre that now has a home, a library and a primary school under construction doesn't leave much room for the children to play. In addition, we don't have any space left to add toilets that are urgently needed in order to improve on the sanitation at the center. Any donation to help us meet the cost of the playground will be highly appreciated.
